What does it take to make flexible, sustainable energy more accessible?

From policy to practice, momentum is growing behind making flexible, sustainable energy more accessible and affordable for European households. One key take-out? It’s a team sport. Hear how E.ON Next’s cross-industry team is delivering it in the UK, right now.
Time: 4:00-5:00 pm CET
Date: Thu, December 11th

Lucia Verardi from SmartEn will kick us off with a European helicopter view on how energy policy is evolving to help ensure that consumers are brought with us, as active participants in the flexible energy systems of the future.

We’ll then dive right in, to how this can play out in real life innovation. The team behind E.ON Next’s Next Gen Home bundled-energy product (a first of a kind in the UK) - including Podero (device flex enabling SaaS) and SolarEdge (one of the project’s key OEM partners) - will walk through the ambitions, approach and hard-learned lessons of the project launch. We’ll then open up to a Q&A.

What you’ll learn

  • How energy policy has recently evolved to benefit households, from the EMD to greater consumer empowerment - and what’s next
  • How we can ensure more consumers can benefit from clean energy
  • Real, practical steps to launching a bundled energy service
